WHEN''S THE BEST SEASON TO GO TO MAUI? Maui has a temperate tropic atmosphere, making it a year-round tourist resort. There is no "bad" season to go to Maui. There are two distinct periods of the year, namely winters and summers, and the temperatures only fluctuate a few degree between the two. In November to March the winters season tends to be rainy and cool, in April to October the summers season is dryer and warm, with a little more damp.
Though there is more precipitation in the winters, it can be raining all year round at any moment and on any date. Hawaii's storm season is from June to November. However, the last real hit from a storm was September 11, 1992 - Iniki.
Low season" and "high season" describe the seasons in Maui with the fewest and most people. Peak season - the most busy season on Maui is generally winters (when it's ice-cold elsewhere!) and summers (the most favourite holiday season for families).
