isle of Easter
Easter Island, also known by the locals as Rape Nui, lies 3800 kilometres off the Pacific coastline. MOAI, the most insulated island in the whole wide open space of the planet, is known for its up to six metres high rock sculptures, which have been constructed on the coastline with their backs to the seas.
Every year the sensuous dancing and the charming sound of Polish folk songs and speech attract tens of thousand of travellers. The island is all year round but it is especially recommended to come to the Tapati Festival at the beginning of February when the people of the island revitalize old rituals, contests and dancing.

Deluxe Travel & Private Chile
When the sentence'off the grid' arouses a kind of profound yearning in your mind, you may just find Easter Island as your sacred home. Easter Island, which is held by Chileans but 3700 km from the coast, is indisputably Polynesia both in geography and cultural terms. On an area of just over 160 square kilometres, the island is home to 26,000 archaeological wacky places, 900 of which are the iconical stony faces or mai, as they are localy known. They puncture the island and remind us of the old civilization that has now been wasted.
The island's topographic variety is added: rough rocks and sparse grassland, which would not be out of place in northern Scotland, are rolling to sand shores with ginkgo clear water reminding of Tahiti.
Easter Island, Magic And Charm(4 days)
The Easter Island is more than 2,000 kilometres from the closest center of the world' s populations (Tahiti and Chile), making it one of the most remote places on earth. It is a South Pacific vulcanic rocks delta - best known for the huge monolithic rocks known as moai that puncture the coast.
Early colonists used to call the island "Te Pito O Te Henua" (Navel of the World). The island was known as Easter Island by Admiral Roggeveen, who came to the island on Easter Day in 1722. Today the country, folks and local languages are known as Rapa Nui. The Easter Island is still one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen; an open-air heritage site with a captivating but unfortunately forgotten cultur.
