End of the street - Review of Lavena Lodge, Taveuni Island, Fiji
Best of all is the small area behind the lodge, where they have set up seats and a desk for a nice panorama look at the beach. You can really unwind here and soak up the cool breezes while you watch ships and humans go by. Prepare yourself for an intensive exchange with the lovable native kids, because they want to get to know the tourist.
Meal is provided by the villagers and you must order in time. The same goes for the charges for the beautiful kayak and coastwalk. It' a good suggestion to take your own snack, fruit and drink, if you want something else besides the local cuisine. The small local store has a very restricted number.

Coastal walk | Lavena
Three miles long Lavena Coastal Walks on Taveuni Island start at the rural Lavena Lodge and lead over a white-sandy bluish Laguna, then over a sandy and dark sandy shore, past welcoming towns before leading through the forest to Wainibau Falls. 2. Immerse yourself in the nature bath under the waterfalls in a scenery that looks positive and pristine. For this hike you can rent a tour leader or take a cab from anywhere on Taveuni to the lodge alone.
Take your free swimming or snorkelling in front of Lavena Point or book a scenic coastal kayaking outing.
