The Pulau Payar Marina Park is a favourite place for snorkellers and divers who want to explore the colorful underwater world of Langkawi. 30 km from Langkawi, Pulau Payar Marina Park is about 45 min from Kuah Jetty, with Langkawi Coral as your travel agent. Longkawi's second biggest island, Pulau Dayang Bunting, looks like the skyline of a lying abortion.

Verbatim translates as "Isle of the Pregnant Maiden", the natives believe that infertile females become fruitful after a swim in the fresh water bath. A 15-minute cruise from the Kuah Jetty and a 15-minute walk along a cement staircase through a thick rain forest will take you to the area. The fresh water pond, encircled by mangroves and a lime stone formations, invites you to swim and linger on the wells.

The Pulau Beras Basah offers extensive sandbeach, shaky palms and clear water in front of a green mountains. Pulau Beras Basah, despite its tourist appeal, is mostly under-developed, with the exception of a few washing rooms and rustic-looking stands with beverages and sweets. Situated 25 kilometers south-west of Kuah, the best way to get to Pulau Beras Basah, an island hoping trip that also takes you to Pulau Singa Besar, Pulau Dayang Bunting and Pulau Singa Besar.

The Pulau Singa Besar is a huge nature reserve where you can find many wildlife, among them an eagle, monkey, mouser, hornbill, snake, dragonfly and peacock. In spite of their name (Giant Lion Island), there are no Lion anywhere on this island. The extensive Pulau Singa Besar beach is ideal for bathing and picnics, while the luxuriant woods are ideal for jungles and night campsites, which require the approval of the locals.

Situated 17 km south-west of Kuah Jetty, island hoppers may not be able to visit the island, but they can see an exhilarating feed of eagles. Recreational Rebak Island is a remote island off Langkawi that hosts the luxury Vivanta of Taj Rebak Island, where wealthy travelers can unbelievably spend a truly enchanting and exquisite vacation in Langkawi.

Like most Langkawi Islands, many of the island's wild cliffs, luxuriant jungles, scenic falls, lime caverns and lonely shores await you. Recreational Rebak Island is also Malaysia's only fully featured yacht harbour where visitors can take a 15-minute luxurious boat to the island.
