Kua'aina Ulu 'Auamo - Homepage
As of this year, the project is looking for a volunteer who loves www. org and supports civic sciences, tribal ag and agronomy. In Hawai'i there have been very few studies on the phenomenology of breadfruits in different climatic zones and Soil. Our goal is to gather information about the time course of fruit and blossom of two single types of breadfruits ('ulu, ma'afala) nationwide.
Hawai'i's wide variety of soil, altitudes and precipitation make it an excellent place to carry out such a concept. Documenting this information will help to understand bread fruit productivity and will be used to produce local and national phenological charts. Fenology cards are made available as a source for bread fruit farmers, traders, converters, purchasers and other people interested in bread fruits.
The aim of this endeavour is to supply information and resource to the Hawaiian bread fruit industries in order to promote the bread fruit as an upcoming agricultural plant with a distinctive regional heritage and the capacity to localise edible produce.
Aina Burgers opens London restaurants
"We' re very happy to bring our North Shore approach to Europe. Kwa Aina started with a basic notion that we still use today: Qualitatively high-quality foods, prepared to order, informal serving at a reasonable price," said Kua Aina CEO and Chairman Terry Thompson. In 1997, Kua Aina extended beyond its North Shore root in Haleiwa with a site on Ward Avenue in Honolulu.
In the same year, Thompson entered into a licensing arrangement with Four Seeds Co., one of Japan's biggest grocery franchises, to grow in Japan.
