Most of its guests are welcomed by comfortable air travel from Guam, Manila or large Asiatic towns. Recently there have been some changes that travellers should be aware of when planning to travel to Palau. Since January 13, 2018, United Airlines no longer operates UA185 and UA186 Saturday night services from Guam to Koror via Yap.

Which once landed at 11:01 pm and left Palau for Guam early Sunday at 12:20 pm because the UA186 was canceled. This means that there are only six Guam weekly departures, but it is still possible to fly through Manila twice a week. 2. Delta Airlines terminated its Narita, Japan to Guam services on January 8, 2018, but will be continuing regular Narita to Palau or Saipan. Narita is the hub of Delta Airlines and other large airlines to Japan, Asia and other global locations. In addition, China Airlines and Korean Airlines operated twice a week services to Koror from Taipei, Taiwan and Seoul, South Korea.

It has seen a large number of airlines chartering to South Korea, Hong Kong and Macau. Some of them, however, have closed down, such as Asian Air Company, Dynamic Airways, Mega Maldives Airlines, Mok Airlines, Thai Airways and Trans Asia Airways. Asiana Airways from Seoul, South Korea, and ANA Airways from Japan also cancelled charters.

The Lion Air and Japan Airlines continue to operate airlines to Palau on scheduled airlines. Whilst 43.2% of Palau's guests come on scheduled services, the suspension of these services could increase the popularity of the big airlines that have been serving Palau with good party ships for many years.
