Founded in 1938 by the father-son of Robert and John Allerton, Allerton Gardens is also the home of Queen Emma of Hawaii. Situated in a magnificent 80 acres large park, it offers rooms in the backyard, water wells, swimming pool, small falls, statues and botanic curios.

The Allerton Gardens, one of the top attractions in Kaua'i, is known as one of the locations for the Jurrasic Park. Today the house is a multi-storey building and open to the general population, making it one of the most important monuments in Kaua'i. Embedded in the Lawa?i Valley on the northern bank of Kaua?i lies the luxuriant Limahuli Garden and Preserve gem.
