Peacefully, beautifully, soothingly North Shore Kauai - Review of the Hanalei Colony Resort, Hanalei

We were staying in unity on the second level (J4) for an 8-day excursion to the lovely Kauai. HCR is a great place if you are looking for tranquillity, recreation and the subtle energies of the North on the shore. Our room was well equipped, very neat and had a well-equipped galley for preparing food.

The employees on the premises and in the office - from Anjolie, who assisted with bookings - to Honey, one of the employees who assisted in cleaning - are marvelous - supportive, kind and full of "aloha spirit". You even have a crew of men washing the Pacific water from your image window every few nights to make sure your views are perfect.

We had a breathtaking panoramic 180 degrees panoramic views of the mountain and the ocean that has changed over and over again. It is a great guide and not at all what I was expecting - we have old tales, local civilization and story and a nice light stroll. While we used to love the second storey for the views, some may want to go out to the beaches.

Hanali

This is a nice, roomy and cosy home in Häwaiian design. Featuring a distinctive blend of old-fashioned local flavours and contemporary, superior conveniences, it is a complete addition to everything you need for a great holiday. Located one part of the Hanalei Bay coast and only 5 minutes walking distance from the picturesque historical centre of Hanalei.

Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, it is separated from the street by a long drive. It is invisible from the street and therefore offers absolute private sphere. Situated in a tranquil and tranquil location with luxuriant tropic vistas of the surrounding nature reserve and our own beautiful garden.
