"In June 2008 we (my whole familiy with two small children) went to the Kandooma Estate, a new estate for a few outings. It was inaugurated in March 2008. There are many different things to do in the area, such as a stroll in the countryside, a day snorkelling outing. Meals can be ordered at meal rates if you collect it yourself; otherwise a $5 return fee will be charged.

It has three diners - the cuisine, a major diners with just a bar and a cafe. We thought the cuisine, allegedly exclusively etc. for Thai-Mediterranean cuisine, was missing in a large choice of dishes (I would say average). There was excellent equipment in the cuisine ( "unique" because the meal is prepared in front of the guest - the cuisine is located directly in the dinning room - hence the name).

So only the café you can really rely on (main place is only buffet). Best part of the area was the swimming pools - simply the most luxurious and thorough we've seen in comparison to other theatres. Unfortunately, the place has a serious rats issue.

We' ve seen many big and small mammals in different places around the entire area - even on the sofas behind the rooms, walking along the path and even in the pools. Some of the managers and others confirmed that there was a maternal issue (apparently coming from the pre-existing building that had been comprehensively rebuilt).

However, despite all the causes, the presence of so many mammals ( "we had about 12 mammals in different places in total") shows a serious issue. And I would have thought that the place would not have opened until I had taken a thorough look at this issue and not before.... There' s no lifesaver by the swimming poolside, despite its height.

It was a great adventure, except for the problems with the beach and the mammals. Yes, we'd go back there, ORDER them to solve the stupid shit!"
