Kama'ole Beach Park

Nice, long, 1.5 miles long sand strands with unbelievable outlooks. Kama'ole is a very favourite place for local people and people. Often mentioned by their abbreviated names ("Kam I", "Kam II" and "Kam III") they are all well signposted, easily found and directly on the South Kihei Rd. Apart from being in the midst of the crowd, these are extremely attractive because they offer an invincible mix of access, amenities and simply old, really beautiful sands!

Snorkelling is best in the area at the northern end of Kam I (called "Charley Young Beach" by locals). Snorkelling is also very good on all these shores. It is a broad, sanded, clean sand with good bathing facilities. At the northern end of this section of sand is Charley Young Strand.

It was Charley Young, a former army journalist who came at the wrong moment to construct his home here - all these shores were taken over during the Second World Peace Treaty and made to emulate hostile landing on them. Anyhow, Charley got his property back after the fighting and rebuilt his home. Charley Young end of Kam I is more loved by the local people, and since the rescue swimmer and more prominent car park and entrance to Kam I is on the other end of the shore, Charley Young is usually not as full of people.

Charley Young car park is located in Kaiau St., as well as a pedestrian walkway and a staircase to this end of the shore.

The Kamaole Beach Park #1

The Kamaole Beach Park #1, which is the first of the three known as Kamaole Beach Parks #1, #2 and #3, can generally be regarded as the first of the really nice ones in West Maui when working from North Kihei to the southwest. It is the part of the Maui' sandy coast that begins to have the tropical and lovely sandy whitewashed shores for which Kihei and further down to Wailea and Makena are known.

The Kamaole 1 is a wonderful piece of blank sandy sickle that extends from one point to the other. Snorkelling is really good only at the spots of the shore, but the sandy bottom in the centre is an excellent place for swimming. Like most beaches in South Maui, Kamaole is usually shallow and nice in the early mornings and when the early afternoons get closer, the beaches are full of strong and chewy oceanwhips.

As a rule, their seaside timing will be of a similar level of enjoyment, as the early hours of the day are perfect for sunbathing and enjoyment, while the winds in the afternoons can be an upset. The Kamaole 1 is special because there are actually two beautiful sandy spots in one.

Kamaole 1 is the entire half moon of the sandy area, but the very wide point of the sandy area and the sand it is made of are also known as Charley Young Strand, which has its own private entrance from the water. Whatever you call it, Kamaole 1 is one of the best places on the islands, especially if you like to swim.

Concerning the facilities, Kamaole 1 has a car and a car-place along Kihei Rd and an unpaved car-place across the road. Volleyball nets are often placed in a sand part of the reserve and there is also a rescue area.

Be aware that all Hawaiian shores and places can be potentially hazardous, even this place. All Hawaii's coasts and shores, as well as its shores and shores, can be visited by shark, jelly fish and other marine life that can cause damage to humans that enter the state.

Situated at the northern end of Kihei, it has a steep 90-degree turn towards Maalaea Harbor.

The Sugar Bea is very long and covers the whole route between North Kihei and Maalaea, making it a great early bird's eye view for those travelling in both places. The Baldwin is the biggest one on the north shore of Maui. Actually, Charlie Young is the north part of Kamaole Park #1.

Its name comes from the man who used to own the home over the shore for many years. Fleming is the epitome of Maui beaches for many visitors, also known as D.T. Fleming Park. Well, this beachside has it all. Kihei Keawakapu is a huge sandy area that stretches about a nile from tip to tip. It' so big that there are three seperate entrances where you can leave your car and go to the bath. State Wayside Launiupoko has long been a favourite on the western side of the isle.

There is a wonderful grassy landscape with picknick table and barbeque areas, but also a small sandy area for a brief bath and aquaticactivity. Mai'Poin'a'oe Ia'u Strand is situated at the 5 miles mark in North Kihei. Approximately one kilometer from the end of the sand at its south border, the sandy shore extends to Sugar Bay, whose border is the old Zuckerpier at the beginning of North Kihei.

Many people consider Makena to be the best in Maui. The Makena is the southernmost one. Makule'ia is the cove just down the southern shore of Honeyua and is situated in the 45 hectare Honolua-Mokule'ia Marine Conservation District.

South Maui has so many nice sands that it's difficult to find a favourite. However, many individuals chose Maluaka as their favourite for a number of reason. Maui' s wide range of sandy areas is unbelievable. It is a nice, crescent-shaped sandy spot situated in the area of Napili Bay along the West Maui coastline.

It is very loved by those who stay in Napili and are only a few minutes walk from the shore. The Olowalu Sea is near the 14 miles mark on the Honoapiilani Highway, which is the seaway that leads you from the main river to Lahaina and the west side.

The Pohaku is in Kahana in the southern part of the city and offers a good look at the high-rise part of the city. It is the biggest one in Wailea and one case could make it the most wonderful one. Undoubtedly nice enough for the Grand Wailea Resort and Wailea Four Seasons Resort to make the choice to build their homes here, and each of these four seasons has been named the best since then.

In the course of the years, when dark rocks disintegrate, dark sandy is formed, and this was the case on the wonderful Hana beaches of Wainapanapa. The Wainapanapa is also a nature reserve and a sandy area. There are kilometres of hiking paths.
