You will get everything you need, basic education and about 50 minutes on the canal. Kaituna Waterfall Adventure is ideal for many age groups and levels, from outdoor enthusiasts to adventuresome beginners (13 years and older) and those seeking complete thrills. Enjoy the tranquillity of the luxuriant indigenous scrub around the Kaituna River and see what 100% Pure New Zealand really means.

You' ll appreciate the warm North Island sea as the rain sprays over the rafts as you explore the river with your experienced guides. This area is imbued with the story of M?ori and you will find out about the story and the caverns in which the wives and kids were hid and later used as a tomb for Chief Tutea - hence the name of the powerful Tutea Fallswaterfalls.

There' s enough timeframe in the canals and two smaller falls in front of the big drops to develop the anticipated joy and practise the new abilities. Approximately 1 in 20 boats are turned on their heads on the bottom of the big falls, but all the big canals are followed by quiet waters, so there is enough floating space to put the boats back in.

Security is top priority and our experienced guide has been driving these canals for many years and they still like every moment of this exciting adventure! Every Raftingtour and the Kaituna Grade 5 will be photographed professionally.
