BACKPACKER' s hosttel by the see - Review of Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora Bora, Bora Bora, France Polynesia
Specifically, we wanted to spend the night in a Bora Bora Bora bungalow (OWBs) resorts. We' re very energetic and the last thing we wanted to do was snorkeling under or around an OWB that was only 4-5ft. high. During our research we found out that some of Bora Bora Bora's lowest OWB' were in Le Mai Tai.
On our search for the real OWB adventure, an genuine Polyynesian islands and lagoons adventure. After arriving at Bora Bora International Bora we were taken by ferry to Vaitape, where the major port is now. About ten ft above the real sea level. It has two local eateries, one next to the sea and the other next to the central school.
It' next to the shore is more relaxed, so we decided to have a few lunch. Also tasty meal - my favorite was the leafy lettuce with goats cheeses and nuts. DH's favorite was the Mahi-Mahi-Salat. I personally liked the Mahi-Mahi-thuna on a leek beds (sounds strange, but so good!).
DH's favorite was the freshwater lake shark with a smooth sauces. Me favorite breakfasts were Benedict's balls, while DH's was the bacon omelet. There we had several beverages from our favorite employee Chantal. There were also canoes and snorkeling equipment on the beaches, as well as an original Polish kayak wrapped in palm trees.
Things to do on and around the islands deserves a look back, but some of them are noteworthy: private outdoor hire of sand dunes buggies, private hire of aluminium boats, dinners at Bloody Mary's and a farm trip on the farm. All in all, Le Mai Tai is a wonderful and genuine Polish holiday destination.
