Hawaii Belongs to which Country

Who is Hawaii?

Okinawa is like Japan Hawaii Claims All of a sudden the daily newspaper says Hawaii belongs to Japan. Tokio releases old cards and documentation pretending that the Hawaiian Isles were part of Japan until they were illegal kidnapped by the Americans. In order to pound the point home, a Japonese battleship is sailing into the Hawaiian seas.

It is no crazier than the people of China claim that the Ryukyu Islands, including the Isle of Okinawa, are more likely to be part of China than Japan. By 2013, the global community issued a group, when China civil servants, scientists and reporters proposed that the Ryukyu belonged to China. Allegations that Ryukyu Indians tributed China more than six hundred years ago have not been formally confirmed by the China authorities, nor have they been disputed.

Researchers proposed that challenging Japan's independence over the Ryukyu is only one way to push Japan into the Senkaku Isles, a string of inhabited East China Sea inhabited archipelagos managed by Japan and occupied by China. China and Japan faced each other near the senkaku, while China's coastguard ships stepped into Japan's coastal areas around the island last October.

China trains have triggered a Japan army armament. The focus of the world's interest has been more on the China claim in the South China Sea and to a smaller degree on the Senkakus. However, the challenge to Ryukyu and Okinawa independence, even if it is only a negotiation game, is much more atrocious.

Up until recently, great superpowers who demanded each other' s territories were not infrequent. However, since 1945 the regional sovereignty of the great nations has not been called into question. In fact, great nations no longer engage in direct combat, but use proxy (China and the USA, which fought in the Korean War, could be an exemption, although China was probably not a great nation in 1950).

It is not the point whether the Ryukyu really belonged to China or not. Okinawa is not a coherent part of the home of Japan, nor are Alaska and Hawaii part of the United States. This makes these two states no less United States. Nevertheless, whether China enjoys it or not, the Ryukyu are currently regarded as Japan's own area.

Now China can no longer take advantage of it than Japan, Manchuria and Korea. It is not a good concept to take up sovereignty from another great nation in the atomic era. Although not as mighty as China, Japan is a great nation, with the world's third biggest economies and a mighty, albeit non-nuclear war.

It is also supported by the United States, which is the most influential country in the hemisphere, is bound by a contract to defend Japan and has a large army based in Okinawa. There is no US presidency that could allow China to conquer Japan without total humiliation of America in Asia and around the globe.

There was no way that the restitution of Okinawa could be made and no way that the country could return it and hoped to remain in power, and more than Putin was able to meet China's demand for Siberia to be returned to China. Except you are down-to-earth for the last two civil wars, let's just hopefully the China offer for Okinawa is nothing but attitude.
