Fast Ferry to Great Barrier Island

In 2014/15 Sealink Travel has published its 2014/15 season flight schedule and is now accepting reservations for the Auckland to Great Barrier Island'Fast Ferry Service'. It was a favourite choice with travellers and local people who travelled between inner city Auckland and Great Barrier Island last year. This year' s work weekend (25 and 27 October) starts with two round trip tours, followed by nine Christmas and New Year's Eve tours between 20 December and 4 January.

In this case, the summer flight schedule will run regularly on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 January to 27 April 2015. It is a completely new travelling adventure for Great Barrier Islanders. Especially those who find the 4.5-hour ferry trip a little frightening.
