Takuu Fordguarantees against faults in materials and manufacturing, except for rubber, washer and bushing, if they are used under standard service condition, as long as the buyer possesses the car on which the original Koni shocks were mounted.
Warranties do not cover fitted shocks; however, for all new shocks sold to the initial retailer, CONI Inc. does not warrant against faults in materials and finishes, except for rubber, washer and bushes used under standard service condition for a 3-year term or 300,000 mile, whichever comes first (purchased after July 1, 1990).
These warranties do not cover built-in shocks and CONI does not warrant them: - In case of a fault, breakdown or non-compliance of your shocks with this guarantee, the first buyer must fill out the CONI Guarantee Declaration and send it back with the shocks, a copy of the latest approval of the car and the date of receipt to the dealership where the shocks were bought, or to an authorised KONI retailer or Koni Inc.
After the check, the shocks are either replaced or replaced free of charge by the guarantor or his customer service organisation. The guarantor does not bear the costs for the fitting of the new or refurbished shocks, however, and the costs for postal charges and returns shall be borne by the buyer.
The guarantee gives you certain privileges and you may have other privileges that differ from state to state. For a return number, please call KONI at 859-586-4100. Present a copy of the actual car license. Enter your name, adress, telephone number, make, type & year of the car and fault name.
KONI will in its sole and absolute judgment either fix or substitute a current guarantee.
