A cruise begins in the historical town of York, where you will be able to see your group and your guide at your own resort. The second day we explore much of the long and intriguing history of the town on a walk through its major sights. After the trip you will have the opportunity to resume the visit at your own speed.

Maybe you dare to visit the amazing railroad world? Conveniently and conveniently situated next to York's lovely Victorian train yard, you can explore the variety of engines this magnificent locomotive showcase has to offer. Here are some of the best trains in the world. At the end of our breakfasts we take the bus to Settle train stations, where we take the renowned Settle & Carlisle Line (Standard Class).

This 72-mile stretch is routinely chosen as one of the best rail trips in the whole wide globe, and for good reasons. Admire the beautiful landscape of northern England, from gentle green mounds to rugged and windswept moors. Today we will have a visit to the beautiful Alnwick Gardens and the magnificent Alnwick Castle.

Well-known as the shooting venue for Downton Abbey, we are pampered with a "tour behind the scenes" through the impressive building. On day 5 we traverse the rugged landscape of Northumberland to the Holy Isles of Lindisfarne and undertake a trip into the British spirit legacy with a trip to the island's renowned Priorate.

After lunch we drive on to Bamburgh, a picturesque seaside city, which has been ruled by its splendid castle since the twelfth cent. Today we are leaving Northumberland and taking the bus to Newcastle, where we enjoy a welcome beverage for the next 12 days on our CMV Magellan onboard.

Afterwards we start our trip to the north and spend days 7 and 8 at lake to arrive at the far Faroe Island. We arrive this mornin' in Tórshavn, the pulsating Faroese city. Maybe you take the option of a trip to some of the island's seaside towns or an outing to the caves around the steep rocks of the Vestmanna Cliff.

On the 10th day we reach Iceland and moor in Seyðisfjörður, a small fishermen's and farmers' village called after the fiord on which it lies. You can take a sightseeing trip in Seyðisfjörður or venture into the wild to discover the Skálanes nature reserve.

Here you can participate in one of the many elective tours that begin from here; explore Goðafoss, or even drive across Skjalfandi Bay to see mink, humpback whale and even powerful cetaceans. Enclosed by high peaks, basaltic rocks and imposing fiords, Ísafjörður is a good base for many options, such as a cruise on the fiord or a tour of the Arctic Fox Research Centre and Museum near by.

It is possible to see the Blue Lagoon, which is one of the most popular and wonderful lagoons in the world. We spend the next few rafting holidays in the open North Sea. We reach Lerwick - the biggest city in the Shetland Islands, Britain's most northerly of outposts. On the 17th we will drive to Kirkwall, the Orkney Islands city.

From Newcastle on the 18th day we take the First Class back to York, where your trip ends. Land trips are not covered and are paid on site. Approximately 10 a week before the trip starts, we will send a letter to all clients to inform them of the precise times of the group' departures and returns.
