What are the mysteries of Easter Island?
Easter Island's singularity can be seen in different views on it. This means that on the one side they know everything about this place, and on the other side they know nothing. His mysterious statues of stones are a mute witness of the old and unfamiliar world. Easter Island is located in the southeast part of the Pacific, between Chile and Tahiti (see Fig. 1).
The locals call it Rape Nui. The Easter Island is one of the most remote archipelago. It has a triangle form with extinguished volcanos at each of its rim. It is about 160 sqkm. The Easter Island is the highest point above sea levels.
That is why Thor Heyerdahl once said that the moon was the next arid country seen by the locals. Hanga Roa is the island's only town. It has its own island colours (Figure 3) and emblems (Figure 4). Interesting enough, Easter Island had / had several names:
Vaihu, Mata-ki-te-Ragi, San Carlos Island, Rapa Nui, Teapi, Tekaouhangoaru, Te-Pito-o-o-te-henua, Hititeairagi and Easter Island itself. Legend has it that Easter Island was once part of a great land (many believe it is part of Atlantis). That looks quite likely, because today there is much proof to support such legends: there are streets on the island leading directly into the sea; there have been found many subterranean passages that begin in small subterranean caverns and run in uncharted areas; and there are other no less significant notes and astonishing finds.
The Australian Howard Tirloren, who came here together with Cousteau, provides interesting information about the submarine investigation of the seabed near Easter Island. Said that when they came here in 1978, they were studying the ground around the island sufficiently carefully. Because of the employees of the DINA policy department overseen by Augusto Pinochet, however, it did not work.
This does not exclude the possibility that a large part of Easter Island sunk during a catastrophe. Between 1973 and 1977, several US oceologists studied sea caves near Easter Island, near the Salas y Gómez Ridge. The" Island of Puzzles" still doesn't let anyone solve its secret.
Perhaps immersion was quicker in antiquity, and once the country (like Atlantis) went deep into the sea, Pacifida with its vast populations and pristine cultures, of which Easter Island still has vestiges? Could various plaques with epigraphs and artistic memorials be nothing more than surviving testimonies to a long-forgotten civilisation?
In fact, according to the first Easter Island hermit Airo, wood panels and rods with hieroglyphics and signs were installed in all of the island's houses. Most of these are pictures of unfamiliar creatures, which are still drawn with rocks by locals. Each picture has its own significance, but since such objects are very seldom, we can expect that the hieroglyphics only show the remnants of an old type.
This means that the locals are only trying to obey the old tradition without making meaning in it. He believes such an incident could have taken place between 1687, when the British navigator Davis found a big head start near Easter Island, and 1722, when Admiral Roggeveen found nothing in this place but a small island.
This possible disaster cannot only be proven by the abrupt end of work in the Rano Raraku mines. Many parts of Easter Island have large cobbled streets that lead into the sea. Can we really find new proof of a missing civilization on the seabed? The fauna and fauna of the Galapagos Islands, New Zealand and the Fiji Islands are very similar, as these countries were part of a large continental area many hundreds of years ago.
Since that time there has been no diving in the Easter Island area. Geologic and oceanographical investigations by Lawrence Chubb near Easter Island showed that the island had not sunk a millimeter and that the shoreline was as sturdy in the construction of its memorials as it is today.
This was the same result drawn by the Swedes, who determined the island to be geologically stable for at least a million years. In examining the island's origins, the writer of the paper has the feeling that many academics do not want to divulge the facts, but want to protect their own point of views and demonstrate what is of personal benefit to them.
Who had to construct statues weighing tons on the small island in the centre of the sea, place them along the circumference of the island, turn towards the sea and coat them with ornamentation and designs? The first Europeans to visit the island and see it eradicate it hurriedly from the locals, so that forty years later almost no Pana Nui people were able to sign or even reread their own house signs?
Nowadays, when a man or woman passes the gate and comes near a sculpture, why can he or she be arrested? Why has UNESCO banned the excavation and investigation of the subterranean part of the statues? A further interesting point is that almost all modern scholars of the unmistakable Easter Island civilization claim the impossible to uncover the true significance of the civilization or to decode the native writing, while everything they decode is just a text devoted to daily living.
1722 the Easter Island was visited by the British sailor James Cook and the discoverer Jean-François La Pérouse from France. The locals, who used to be an image of good Health, now lived a bad existence, while almost all the statues of majesty were torn down and lay on the floor. They remembered the old worship.
Few members of the famed "long-eared" breed were left, and their demise was most likely due to rivalry - the "short-eared", who devastated not only the strain but also its intrinsic people. In the aftermath of such incidents, a whole era ended on Easter Island, which had gone on for many hundreds or even thousands of years.
Capt. Cook, La Pérouse and the Spaniards who found the island in the second half of the eighteenth centuary showed no interest in antique artifacts - they were only looking for new areas to explore and colonize. After all, when Europe's explorers became interested in the legacy of other countries, only quiet testimonies of their great past were left on Easter Island - the gigantic, breathtaking statues.
They were demolished by the base and only a derelict pagan sanctuary and some strange wood panels with unidentified hieroglyphics were left at the craters. Not only because of the perpetual extermination battles did the number of locals decrease. Slavers from Peru invaded the island in 1862, capturing about nine hundred men and taking them with them, among them the last of them.
Later, three hundred other locals on the island were taken prisoner and sent to Tahiti to work on the island's plantation. When the Easter Island show fight began, launched by Dutrou-Bornier at the behest of a France based enterprise, the other locals and misionaries left the island completely.
Thus the Easter Island had dropped from 2.5 thousand to 111 persons within 15 years! The few who chose to remain did not remember the centuries-old tradition of their ancestors. Some interesting facts about the islanders (see Figure 6). Helena Blavatsky says that the colorful skins of the locals testify that different races were living and mixing on Easter Island, among them the Lemurians (the third rooted race) and the Atlantians (the fourth rooted race).
This information is found in Blavatsky's The Secret Doctrine, where Easter Island is cited as the home of the first generation of the third family. The sudden volcanic outburst and the sea floor ascent swamped Lemuria with all its sights and cultures. The island remains untouched as proof of the Lemuria's survival.
The Easter Island area was invaded by several Atlantic people who escaped a catastrophe that happened in their places. A lot of scientists have made great efforts to recreate the Easter Island people' s civilization with small seeds. The scientists are fortunate that there are two cultural centers on this small 160 sq: a small stretch of land:
Rano Raraku is a volcano craters on the south side of which antique mines have been preserved. Later, giant holy statues were carved out of the pores in the mines. The volcano mountain still retains the effects of a horrible civilian war: many statues remain incomplete at various levels of integrity; some have only first outlines, others can be supplemented with several chiseling motions to separate them from the rocks and to lay them; others are standing, lying or even finished for dispatch.
Fifteen rock-ideols were standing on the lower plateau, but now all but one are lying on the floor. The" short-eared" breed has completely eradicated the carriers of the mysterious civilization of the" long-ears", knocked down their gigantic memorials and tore down rocks to the depth. The old folk used rock mallets, hatchets and bits to cut them out, because the locals could not make anything out of it.
Most incomprehensible is the way the statues were carried from the vulcano to the plattforms near or far from its stronghold. Indeed, there were not so many persons on Easter Island who performed such works. It can be assumed that the Idols were carried by small groups of locals who used tough cords of reeds or vegetables, wood rolls and lever.
Then, the icons were mounted in a vertical position, with a pile of stones precisely aligned under the pedestal. Now on the island, where there is almost no vegetation covering, such memorials stand out everywhere. The statues were not only used as tombstones, but also had a certain spirit purposes, as documented by finds from the Orongo Plateaus near the Rano Kau Basin south-west of Easter Island.
Not far from the volcano craters, there are mystical constructions without windows made of massive boulders. Recently, the Point of View website has produced a whole range of products devoted to the oldest architectonic monuments and iconic monuments in the world. AllatRa' s original research perspectives on such items are seen in these papers as a sequel to the old symbolic theme mentioned in the work.
Especially on Easter Island the big stone figures had to be carved on a small plot of ground in the Pacific Ocean. So it would be much quicker and simpler to move the statues and it would be clearer how the transfer in general works.
To this day, there are many suppositions and theories about how the statues weighing tons were moved from the place of production to the place where they are today. Born and the remainder of the Pacifida followers tried to find at least some tracks at the bottom of the sea, on neighboring isles and even on other mainlandhad.
Some of the island have remarkable traces of completely extinct inhabitants: the coral island has been found with the remnants of old houses, and the Marquesas island has enormous fossilised memorials reminiscent of Easter Island. The enigmatic statues of the small island of Pitcairn are also made of masonry.
Fig. 7 shows characters that may look similar, although they are designed in different ways. On the right hand side there are hieroglyphics on mystical panels on Easter Island. The Kohau Rongorongo font contains about four hundred different icons.
The texts on old Hindu signets contain about the same number of hieroglyphics, of which almost a hundred icons correspond according to Hevesi! Some time later, he discovered one hundred and seventy-four similar characters. According to him, the Magyar language expert had a false point of view because he used accidental icons from different fonts for comparisons.
What is the connection between the people of the abandoned small island in the Pacific and the people of the Indus valley still is unclear. In the second half of the nineteenth AD the residents of Rape Nui painted their icons on a plate (a continental rudder was used as one of the preserved plates), while the text was engraved on the labels of the Industrial Valley five thousand years before!
It is therefore still not possible today to establish how they have succeeded in adopting similar writing without altering their external outlines, as they have to surmount the natural and unkind tribes' forces. Their identities definitely exist in the symbol of these nations, and if the scientific community does not shift the vectors of their evolution towards a morally and spiritually one, it will not progress by continuing to close its eyes to obvious things and by carrying out the orders of the Archon's butlers.
According to old legend, once a year a priest approached God to ask for a new birdman. One man who was called to this position had to organise a group of several people and go with them to the rock houses and caverns of Rano Kau. There, they would wait (sometimes several months) until gulls living on the island would lay an egg on a rock several hundred metres from the water.
Immediately the first man to reach it had to look for an egg, then washed it and brought it unharmed to the island. He proudly gave the egg to the chieftain, who from that point on received the Vogelmann state. With the egg in his hand, the headman went all along the south shore of the island and made dance moves until he arrived at Rano Raraku.
He had to live there next to the rock residents of Rape Nui for twelve month. This place of the prohibited was established for the remainder of the residents of Rape Nui, for the respectful human space for birds. Probably in the antiquity also Kannibalismus could be practised on the island.
Let us suppose that, unlike our civilisation, the old people of Easter Island did not see the materialistic perception of the rest of the world, but rather were living with the abundance of sacred value. Might that be exactly why some Europeans have chosen to have such a rush to destroy it? The icons on many statues show this.
Perhaps more care should be taken with these icons to better understanding the characters the birdman worked with. Most of the statues have pictures on the back of them as evidence of the connection between the worship of birds and the solid rockidoles. The worship of the demi-god and the giant ideols was still supported in 1722, but when the "short tubes" came to Rafa Nui, everything dramatically altered.
Researchers assume that they fled Rapa Iti because of a horrible summer conflict or a frying dry spell. It' s just that in antiquity there were humans who knew how and for what purposes certain symbols should be used. If their offspring had not been deprived of the information given to them, the peoples who live on the island today would have a better understanding of themselves and their fundamental connections to other world.
Typically for the chronicles, as transfers of information and legend for offspring, skilled men would draw characters on statues of stones, and they often adorn themselves with corresponding inkpots that had a particular symbolism. To the ignorant, these were sketches that were meaningless, but a source of deep reverence and anxiety to those who, in their view, "probably knew something special".
In Anastasia: Yes, but there are no signposts on the Easter Island rock faces and decks. Worth mentioning is that the indigenous island civilization has not disappeared with the locals. During the first half of the nineteenth centuary the last of the knowledgable Nga'ara remained to govern the island.
He collected a whole depot of symbols with hieroglyphics and learned the specifics of Rongorongo's scriptures at our schools. The few chosen ones were sent to him for education, while all other residents of the island were absolutely prohibited from learning such things. But whoever knew the Rongorongo-List with several hundred characters had to overcome a specific test.
In Anastasia' s view, the meaning of some characters shows another fact of a kind of'hunt' for them. Take, for example, the history of the old Easter Island script system. The island was conquered by the "Western civilization", representing those who were sailing on board the Netherlands and Spain.
It was a visit of a Catholics Christian monk who introduced the island's unique script system to the people. Easter Island residents kept notes with specific labels on wood panels that were in almost every house. But after opening the Easter Island to the Europeans, the said misionary and his supporters did everything at the same moment to break this scriptural system and incinerate it as heathen heresies.
So what remains of this recently existing civilization? Hundreds of gigantic sculpted heads, as high as multi-storey edifices, twenty or more tonnes in weight and spread over Easter Island, a few dozens of plates with wondrously preserved literature, a wand and a chest adornment with inscriptions.
It seems that after learning of these marks and icons, the earthly clergy have done everything they can to break them, even if this was already a pathetic relic of previous cognition. However, in those areas where traditional belief has not superseded the old deities and mystical practices, humans still make magical nodes that often make quite complicated configuration.
Eskimos; North, Middle and South America Indians; all Africa people; island strains of Oceania; tribal people of Australia and East Asia, incl. Japan. Most of the times different characters are made for amusement, but at the same the Aboriginal people often mention that by putting a knit outline on their finger, they say old words with a magical mean.
Trunks used in the antique world to make magical designs, animals' arteries, bowel fibers, tied or turned plant filaments and sometimes even long manholes. In doing so, only skilled individuals comprehend how a knit figure mind works. It is interesting to note that the Navajo Indians, who established themselves in the north-west of the United States of America, are persuaded that knotting in classical history was created by a group of spiders who trained other man.
Moreover, the people of the Gilbert Islands in Micronesia believe that such skylines were created during the process of creating the game. "These nodes are still known today in the Gilbert Islands, while the Maude dynasty was even able to take photos of ten of them. We can see why scholars still miss interpreting old scores and epigraphs, which are more symbolic than alphabetic, considering that they are only in part.
In fact, these disregarded icons elucidate true detail and mystery of a much older civilization. Not taking into account the interpretations of Tepano Jaussen, who deciphered about five hundred characters, the significance of the Rongorongo hieroglyphics has not yet been clarified, which leads to interesting sentiments. Even their civilization later disappeared.
A number of scholars believe that certain parts of this civilization, as well as Scripture, were introduced to Polynesia around the 2000BC. Then, the trunk of the "long ears" spread them to the island of Rafa Nui, where they were kept for hundreds or even thousands of years. This went on until all competent men and preachers passed away, and so the unresolved secret for the contemporaries came into being.
In addition, in every straight line signposts were turned on their heads. This strange scriptwriter was named bust-phedon. This mysterious typeface stayed unfamiliar for many years, which is why Europeans did not discover it immediately. Tepano Jaussen began to study the first written notes in detail in 1817. Completely astonished when he realized that few educated island dwellers could see text on their dishes, but they told the essential in their own words using characters only as tip.
Here is an interesting note from Wikipedia that clearly shows how Archons excavated the Rongorongo civilization by their own tribe, especially by church officials. Thord Heyerdahl once made the decision to go to a hut on Easter Island. It included important hieroglyphics of the old writing and the decoding of its significance in ciphers.
Those who saw the event said that soon after that, Estheban sailed to Tahiti on a small canoe. There was a point at which the evangelists saw a wonderful similarity between the Easter Island Scriptures and the old Egypt hieroglyphics. It was also found that 175 characters of Kohau Rongorongo were completely identic with Hindustan epigraphs, while the similarity with the old written text of China was established by the Austro-Hungarian archeologist Robert Teldern in 1951.
US and Germany scientists are certain that the writing that once prevailed in Polynesia was wonderfully conserved and stayed on Easter Island. Some could listen to noises we could not and that was the quintessence of their joy. Behrens enjoyed talking about the abundant vegetation of Eater Island and collecting huge amounts of fruit and vegetable every year.
He described the locals and described the following: "As far as its complexion is concerned, it has different shades: there are black-skinned and completely whitish island dwellers, and there are even red-skinned people who look as if they have sunburned. Some say that the wonderful skills of the people of Rapa Nui are due to the will of the deity.
The locals claim that their forefathers built memorials that are today renowned for their might. After hearing of such a story, James Cook declined to believe it and even posed the most important mysteries of the island: how the rock icons might have come into being and why they did not appear again.
Nevertheless, the inhabitants of the island do not endorse this hypothesis and point to bird men, i.e. to gods who have come down to the ground, who have set up and flown away the idols. There are pictures of winged humans on the island as evidence of the history. The Rapa Nui civilization with its uniqueness and mystery has long moved the heads of scientists.
His emissaries built singular rock tombstones, which prove the high stage of their civilisation. The statues were made between 1250 and 1500. Almost nothing is known about the residents of Easter Island and their ancestry. In the eighteenth c., when Europeans explored the island, they only found a backward breed of humans who were completely incapable of erecting such memorials.
When the island was conquered by slavers a few centuries later, the very last remnants of this civilisation were grave. Archeologists have compiled a comprehensive overview of a large number of spear points found throughout the island in an Antiquity magazine report. This deduction is derived from the idea that the primary goal of a good gun is to destroy the foe, while on Easter Island a spear can only harm one man, not death.
Therefore, the spear points were most likely used as instruments for farming, grocery working and the use of various tattooing on the body of locals. There is no indication of large-scale and violent war on the island. It can therefore be said that the decline of the old civilization was rather due to a shortage of natural and cultural assets and to changes in the socioeconomic fabric.
Incorporating the material of various scholars and common people seeking truths gives the feeling that there is an interest in Easter Island, but the non-availability of real information either takes a scientist into the maze of formal standards or concludes that we will never find the facts. The island has several kinds of mai ( "statues"): some of them have recently been placed on plinths, others are spread over the island; others are partly underground, sometimes quite deeply.
The statues also differ in stature and look, as they seem to have been created at different time. The island has several tradition that are reminiscent of the acts of those who have intellectual wisdom about man and the outside of it. In spite of many mysteries and open possibilities for exploring the island, the regional government does not conduct any formal science work.
Moreover, such research is taboo, excavation is forbidden and even submarine research near the island is not permitted. Looks like someone is scared that humans will find out the truths stored in the island's artifacts, and this is the same in many places of this kind around the globe.
One very interesting subject is the screenplay, which used to be on the island and was promptly destroyed after the arrival of the Europeans. For less than a hundred years, there was no one who could literate and spell the ancient characters and icons, and those who still remember the Scriptures shunned explorers like fire.
Considering this, it is clear that before the Europeans arrived there was an old civilization on the island where humans not only kept the real wisdom, but also used it in an active way. Such as, for example, the "plasticine" technique of working stones (when a rock is as three-dimensional as plastilin ), slicing and transporting multi-tone statues, three-layered ehu (platforms) with the lower layers with multilayered brickwork like many other multilayered constructions on different soils.
Already the fact that the statues were created and erected along the edge of the island indicates that it was necessary (at least for the locals). Considering that these were skilled spiritually, as we have already noted, this need could be due to the establishment of certain circumstances for the whole or part of the globe, since "moai hold the might of the northerly wind and are accountable for the part of the globe to which they look.
" These could be both climactic and spiritually, and perhaps Rigden Djappo will find it appropriate to reveal the real intent and holy significance of the statues. Many of the Easter Island's mysteries are still unsolved today and answer many of the mysteries that the explorers may lose forever.
But as long as the study continues, one hopes to be able to resolve the mystery that arose many hundreds of years ago.
