There are four ways to get to know Fiji in Denarau

On and around Denarau there is a lot to do when you can pull away from the pool. When you go to Fiji, you will probably soon find yourself on the island of Denarau. Less than 20 minutes by car from Nadi International Airport is Denarau with its eight large resort complexes, which lie on the beaches like women's trophies.

Sigatoka Safari goes down the stream. We will be picked up by our own transfer to Sigatoka, just over an hour's car ride from Denarau.

It is the home of the Sigatoka river safari, where we go on a jet boat trip with the charming "Captain Jack" (actually Josh). The Sigatoka is a 120 km long Sigatoka Valley with 52 towns. To the riverbank we drive to Vunarewa where we will participate in a typical Kawa ceremonial and eat together with sausage, pike-perch, chickens and fruits.

Adrenalin Fiji parascending gives you a whole new view of Denarau Island. Soon the huge rainbow-colored chutes that dance high above the Denarau lakes and lakes catches our eyes and look like something our group - who are more Bridget Jones than Bear Grylls - might be able to do.

Sailing over the blue water with views of the Mamanuca Islands and small Denarau with its well-maintained resorts and large outdoor pool. In Denarau I have the feeling that I only scraped the Fiji area - but it is still a great place to dive in my ones.
