Celebrity British Isles Cruise 2015
British Isles Celebrity Cruise 2015The Princess or Celebrity in 2015?
Hello everyone, I am in the early research phase of designing a cruise to the British Isles in 2015 and trying to choose between Princess and Celebrity. It will be our first cruise in Europe. These is a once in a life long cruise I plan so I would appreciate any help, advice whatsoever or hints you can do.
When you were on the Princess or Celebrity British Isles cruise or both, I would be very interested to hear from you with your preferences, aversions, views, etc.. 1st February 2015. if possible before and after the cruise - there is so much to do & to see ANYtime ! whatever you chose, you will fall in love with the British Isles! ! every night from the Harbour Intensity Route most evenings we slept at 9 ! we will not delay to make reservations inside again if it means that we can stay more ashore!
In June 2011 my man and I were on a beautiful cruise to the British Isles (our first one). From Southhampton we went on a round trip and afterwards we remained in London for 2 further nights - which was not long enough, but we were not aware of that at that was. It was a really, really beautiful cruise and we were sailing on the Crown Prince.
If you are planning it, you should try to choose a date during the Edinburgh tattoo. We' ve been sailing both Princess and Celebrity and find them quite the same. We' re planning a cruise to the British Isles in June 2013. And so we decide to go to Celebrity and make some savings.
Celebrity' new S-Class vessels are knock-outs! Merry cross! Love the boat. All I didn't like was that Celebrity didn't have washing machines and tumble-driers. You' ll either have to get washed and hung in the booth or let Celebrity do it for you. Now, the dinner on Celebrity was great.
It was a very mature vessel. So if you don't intend to use Princesses Sanctuary, or if you're not really interested in one type of enclave or another, if you're happy with the Princess' meal, Princess would be simpler in terms of lingerie. And again I love celebrity. But if the routes were essentially the same, and the meals on the princess boat are good enough - for a route of more than a weeks, I think I would vote princess over celebrity because of the lingerie question.
Didn't cross on Celebrity, but would like to. On the Golden to the British Isles we made our first European cruise of dreams. and enjoying the versatility of eating any time. So we spent two more days in London. One great journey and Princess did a great work with her organised trips and entertaining.

So what did you finally choose, princess or celebrity? We' ve been sailing on both the Princess and the Celebrity. Up to now we have been on the Princess 7x and have had enough of most of the older boats.
We' ve tried their newest boat, the Regal for New Years, and it was not as good as we thought (see the review on the shelf). Now we are on the Royal Princess on the British Isles because we have made a good business, but after this we intend to take other cruise routes again.
Celebrity is our passion! The Baltic/Scandinavia cruise on the Celebrity Eclipse was a great success. We' ve been sailing on both the Princess and the Celebrity. I know a cruise would be good. You should try to choose whether to sail the British Isles from London Southampton with a large or very large Princess vessel or the British Isles from London Dover with a smaller Princess vessel. None of these harbours is located near London, so every stop before and after the cruise must be considered.
A number of travellers like to get to the UK by taking flights directly to London Heathrow. It' possible to get to London Gatwick directly (closer to Southampton than LHR) or at London City Airport (usually indirect from Schipol etc. but nearest to London).
Queen Elizabeth RMS, SS France, Oronsay, Oceana, Vision of the Seas, Caribbean Princess, Aurora, Any British Isles cruise must be in August to capture Edinburgh ink, almost always mail I've seen, said one cruise highlights, the other is Orkney, more stationary rocks, the Stonehenge, building older than the pyramids.
So what did you finally choose, princess or celebrity?
