The Cayman Islands have long been a favourite place for travellers with their beautiful reindeer beds and gleaming, clear, blue-water. Cayman Islands culture and nature is brought to life in the National Musuem. Situated in the old courthouse, the open daily with the solemn bubbling of a shell shell. Inside, everything from catboats and coin to postage stamp, fantastically padded bird and traditionally -clad garments are a great way to learn about the wealthy Caymanians.

The islands were very different in the eighteenth centuries and the visitor can live the experiences of the early colonists in the mission house. Formerly home to missionsaries, homes and educators who established the Presbyterian service in Bodden Town, the former capitol, the museum brings back the visitor to an ancient period and restores the islands' histories.

The Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is only a 40-minute car ride from George Town. If you go through the streets, you get a feeling for the islands at the beginning of the twentieth centenary.

Get away from the hurly-burly of George Town and take a cab to Seven Mile Beach, considered by tourism professionals to be one of the "ultimate beaches" in the game. One of the reason why the Cayman Islands are hailed as the embodiment of an exodus from the islands and a first-class Carribean tourist resort is the sandy beach.

Cayman Turtle Farm is not far from the sea. Situated on the west bank of Grand Cayman, the Cayman Islands' biggest isle. In the Cayman Islands, George Town is the biggest city with about 31,000 inhabitants. The Cayman Islands' main administrative languages are English, which is widely used.
