We' ve just got back from our journey to the Cook Islands. For the first few nights after our stay we went to the Paradise Inn near the center of Avarua. We' ve reserved this place because we didn't want to miss the Te Maeva Nui, the big yearly dancing and musical event.

The Paradise Inn, which used to be the biggest ballroom in the land and is now housed in a 10 room style restaurant, is only a five minute stroll from the new main lecture theatre, which is now the biggest one in the state.

If you are in a rotten atmosphere, you can take the coach that will stop right in front of the city. An insider tip: Hitch hiking is very simple on Rarotonga. Cook Island people are so cute! It is great to come to your Paradise Inn after a hard working days, it is spacious, pretty and very well-cleaned.

There is a huge lounges in the motel where you can enjoy TV, your just purchased CD or CD with Cook Island or just simply enjoy relaxing.
