On the northwestern side of Keats Island... Reachable by long-dale to Keats Landing and 2 km on foot to the camp. Built-up area with wooded, walkable camping sites, fireplaces, waters and a system of paths. Maritime equipment includes a quay and moorings; small vessels can be hoisted up on the bank.
Number of campsites: 20 accessible pitches, available on a first come, first serve principle. People can still enter the parking if the wheather permits. Please review the "Attention Visitor Information" above for parking warnings. The Plumper Cove Marine is open all year round and requires minimum maintenance during the cold seasons. Please note that a Boil Water Advisory is in force in this reserve for the operating period from mid-May to mid-September.
It is not possible to make a reservation for a campsite in this area. You can make a reservation for the group pick nick area through Discover Camping. If no reservation is possible, all camp sites are considered first-come, first-served. Camping reservations: All camping sites are currently first-come, first-served, bookings are not acceptable. Group-Picknick Reservation: It is possible to make group picknick bookings in the reserve from 19 May to 29 September.
On the west bank of Keats Island, across from the Gibsons Shoal Channel. You can paddle, go on canoes and kayaks in this area. Canoeists often reach this area from Horseshoe Bay and the Sunshine Coast. The campsite has kayak/canoe entry. Biking is allowed on hiking paths. There' s a 3 km long path leading to the Keats Landing boat station and a 1 km long circular path around the area.
Observe the information boards and follow the marked paths for your own security and to maintain the area. Swim / dive from the quay is not allowed. You are allowed to camp in this area, but the service is restricted. You can buy firewood in some of our farms or take your own firewood with you.
In order to maintain plant life and land coverage, it is forbidden to collect timber from the vicinity of your camp site or from other parts of the reserve, as well as from the foreland. There is a day/picnic area in this area. Underground lavatories are available. Pets are allowed on the beaches but must be kept on a lead. are allowed in this area.
There are two underground lavatories on the campsite and two in the area. There is no boot in this area. Camping pitches are only accessible to seafarers. There' 20 packaged dump and grit places. The facilities comprise four (4) mine lavatories and a hand pump for potable and potable waters. You can reach these pages by foot and by car.
Continue along the signs to the Marinepark. This walk leads over a well developed 3 km long path to the north into the nature reserve. You are allowed to camp in this area, but the service is restricted.
