Hello....are there any falls in BB? Do you mean a genuine waterfall on the island or an artificial waterfall in some of the hotel? This waterfall does not really exists on Bora Bora. Haifischfütterung seems to have been shot there, although it's not like the film did, and some of the resorts own footage (arrival scenery, yogascene and bungalows) was shot there.

However, there are cascades on Moorea and Tahiti. The thread has been discontinued due to apathy. If we do not comply with our policies, we will delete any postings and we retain the right to delete postings for any cause.

In fact, the cascades were the cream of the crop. Indeed, while most of our guests are spending their days in paradise, the falls have given us the chance to live paradise on a much lower plane. We have visited the Franco-Polynese Falls on the bigger Tahiti and Moorea Island (part of the group of Society Island, which include the Leeward Island Bora Bora).

For example, high falls such as the Cascade de Fachoda and the Faarumai Falls are among the more tragic specimens of what Tahiti has to show. Then there are also more private kinds of water falls like the Vaipahi Falls as well as those that demand a little adventurous, like the Afareaitufalls of Moore.

Up to now we have not found any on Bora Bora, although it is quite possible that there are some waterways on the most part of the archipelago, as Mt Otemanu and some of its neighbouring hills scratch the skies to such an extent that they get humidity from some of the low rainforests. "However, we know that there are some huge falls over there and it is definitely on my wish lists as its seclusion, robustness and mysteriousness beckon.
