Blue Ocean Adventures st Davids
St. Davids Blue Ocean AdventuresWhat you can do
We stayed here every single working days at Whitesands Bay Strand. It' our favorite place and there's so much to do on this breathtaking and secure sandstrand. There' are cliff swimming pool, nice strolls, windsurfing, bodyboarding, a great little cafe and an Icecar. A 5/10 minutes ride.
It is not astonishing that Whitesands was honoured with the Blue Flag Coast 2016 and the Seaside Award (Resort) 2016. The Cathedral of St. David - one of the oldest in Britain - is the site of a sixth c. convent established by Dewi (David), a Roman Catholic Orthodox temple. During low water there is a sand shore with many rocks to be explored.
In and around St. David there really are some nice landscapes to explore. Only 10 minutes by car from Solva, this is a wonderful port town with many possibilities for a meal. At the end of the port of Solva you can catch crabs. Shrimp cords and baits are available in the pretty little cafe next to the harbor, Cafe am Kai; and there is also a warm beverage with a cover on the knee to watch the ships and the peace of the ocean.
At low and high tides a beautiful sandy area is uncovered. Oral y-Felin - that's a fabulous galery on Nun Street. I' m always happy to rummage in this galery, because they really have such beautiful and diversified works of work. Their St. David's plays are my favorite music. Ramsay Island Cruise with Blue Ocean Adventures - 07432262711.
It' s an unbelievable adventure and there are some species of animals to see according to the season, among them Atlantean gray seal, harbour porpoise and an abundance of marine flock. Blue Ocean Adventures will take you on this 1-hour cruise that will take you deeper into the ocean caverns and canyons on the east and west sides of Ramsay Island.
Reservations can be made by telephone or on-line, or you can go to the main road near the icecream parlour. Gianni's Gianni's Ice to 6. There are more flavors than you ever thought possible, and they are always very spacious with their servings, I have never seen such a giant egg (not even my four year old!) They are on the main road opposite the town hall.
