It is appropriate to write about general preservation methods, stress preservation, describe the story or evaluate publications or current research. This journal is particularly interested in neotropic surveys that do not involve professional birdwatchers.

The Subbuteo Nature History Books is currently inactive.

After almost 30 years, we made the hard choice to stop selling under the Subbuteo Natural History Book name. They are no longer proprietary within the UK, e-books have become more fashionable at the cost of pressure and there is strong competitive pressure from large corporations whose names and general trade volume mean they can charge much higher profit margin than we do.

These are all elements that make book trade extreme hard. CJ WildBird is our main activity, CJ WildBird and CJ WildBird is one of Subbuteo Natural History Books' commercial departments. We procure, produce and sell our birds' feed and animal grooming supplies throughout Europe under the CJ Wildlife and Vivara brand names, as well as on commission from a number of animal welfare organizations.

Together, these two elements have made us make the hard but necessary decision to concentrate on the wild animal aspects of the store and to narrow our attention to specialized science publications. Subbuteo Web Shop will therefore no longer be traded as of this date. Nor do we stop selling them, but only in a different way and in a more themed area.

In the future, we will be offering a number of additional publications about the specialty stores we run: We' ll also be offering a number of trade publications in our Ebay shop while supplies last.
