Vatulele is situated just 25 minutes from Nadi Int'l Airporto, just southwest of Viti Livu and just a few minutes away from Beqa and Beqa. Thirteen kilometres long, this picturesque, low-lying islet is surrounded by palms and rainforests. There is a barriere coral cave at the east and north ends, and good angling and scuba-dive.
It has four main agricultural and fishery communities and is an important manufacturer of typical local mashis. One of the biggest contiguous corals in the whole reef area, the Great Astrolabe Reef stretches from the north east to the south side of the isle. The archipelago is situated directly in front of the west bank of Viti Levu in a lake that forms between the Great Sea Reef and the continent.
The Mamanucas and the Nadi Bay Isles are surrounded by dark bluish water with teal and light purple sea life and some of Fiji's most beautiful sanctuaries. These" holiday islands" are the most favoured for daily excursions or longer sojourns. Yasawas are a series of 20 sun-drenched islets that stretch northeast from the top of the Mamanucas 90km/54miles out into Bligh Water.
Its secluded location, sandy beach, clear lagoon and diverse terrain make the Yasawas one of the most appealing travel spots in Fiji. You have three ways to explore the island - one at the budgetary or other end of two luxurious homes. And the other is to cross the isles.
Yasawas were used as locations for the "Blue Lagoon" films and were used as the setting for an American film. Do you need help to plan your Fiji vacation? We' re specialized Fiji agencies and nobody knows the exceptional Fiji Islands as well as we do!
