When I came on THURSDOY, May 21, 2015, I noticed that this was the fifth time in a single calendar month that we had to cancel it. Later, a helpful sealingink employee pointed out to me that there were personnel problems and the refusal was not due to the weathers. Later we were informed that the boat was not seagoing in up to 35ct gust-a frequent occurrence in the canal.

Many good people at sealink do their best, but it only needs one or two to take down the whole outfit. You can also be informed that there have been no changes to our long-standing and seasoned crews. There are other operational conditions on the Great Barrier that we have to meet.

It is our top concern not to take a trip lightly, but the security of our clients, the staff and the ships is our top concern. From Half Moon Bay to Waiheke we drove with our rental vehicle on the Sealink auto-ship. That gave us the complete liberty to circumnavigate this enchanting island.

For example, you may want to take a delayed 7pm boat home and have your own fishing and chip on the shore when the sundown. Having your own vehicle avoids all the rip-offs from the island's landlord Mafia rental company. Shortly before the time of our departures we reached Waiheke, but we had no problems getting on board, even the way back, which was full and hoped to get in, but they didn't give up our place.
