I' ve chosen this 16" model; it has a total of 29 wooden parts - hinges, legs and trunk, which can be turned and bent in different dimensions. Articulating points are finite but they' re reasonable and the figure is clearly proportional as masculine (in fact, try to find a feminine, there is none of this kind).

No complete sideways pronunciation in the lower extremities, which attaches the trunk to the ankle, which is the major constraint; the trunk, scalp and throat flex and swing sufficiently well; the extremities - with a little investigation and adaptation - will generally give useful results, but are not able to pose very finely or subtly.

Knees, elbows and hocks are locked, with only the shoulders and gloves allowing rotation. On the inside, the whole figure seems to be covered with a little creaking and tweaking thread. All the wooden parts are made well enough; I suppose all vendors are the same makers since there is no considerable distinction between this Reeves figure and the others I have seen, I just trust it will keep up to use - I have been told that they are not too elastic; though it has been ok so far.

It' good for drawings? I think so; I have used it as a subjective (like other artists) and as amateur characters they are able to set more precise postures than fantasy alone can, but they can't deal with, say, ballett or act figure-posing.
